As a hypnotherapist and nutritionist, the "two Claires" are often asked about weight loss and healthy eating.
While Claire Furner can help with motivation and the psychological aspects of committing to a healthier lifestyle, she is unable to advise on nutrition. The converse is true for Claire Butler, who can give expert support with food and nutrition, but often finds that her clients struggle with their emotional relationship with food.
As a result, Claire and Claire have decided to combine their skills and experience and launch a joint programme "Six Weeks to Wonderful". The first group of participants begin the programme on Tuesday 17th January. Places are limited but we may still have room for one or two more if you are interested!
What is it?
This six unique week programme is designed to kickstart your healthy eating and weight loss plan, helping you look and feel great for Spring.
If you want to...
Then this unique, six week programme is for you. This is nothing like traditional slimming clubs….it’s not a diet, but a new way of life.
Specially designed by a fully qualified clinical nutritionist and supported by a qualified hypnotherapist, this is a totally new and exciting concept in healthy eating.
How does it work?
Taking place over six weeks, places on each programme are strictly limited to ensure that group numbers are small. Group meetings will take place weekly on Tuesdays at 6pm. Participants are expected to attend each of the six meetings in the programme and to complete "homework" inbetween.
Who is it for?
The programme is for women of all ages aged 18 and over. It is suitable for women wanting to lose weight, but because of the emphasis on health and wellbeing it is also suitable for anyone who wants to adopt a healthier way of life, even if weight is not a concern.
What is included?
Detailed health and wellbeing questionnaire with individual feedback
Eating habits questionnaire to identify any psychological or lifestyle issues
Supervised “12 day detox” designed to help you control your blood sugar, deal with cravings, and reduce inflammation. By the end of the 12 days you should already be feeling more energetic, less hungry, and may even have lost weight (individual results will vary but potentially up to a stone).
Comprehensive support materials, including shopping lists, menus and eating plans
Weight loss hypnosis to help you stay motivated and focussed
Practical tools and techniques to help you overcome cravings and tackle emotional eating
How much does it cost?
Our special offer for January 2017 is just £75 over a six week period, including all group meetings, materials, and refreshments. Pariticpants will also be offered opportunities for follow up meetings and online support via a private Facebook group.
Here comes summer....does the thought fill you with joy or with despair at the thought of having to fit into your summer wardrobe?
Does the thought of baring those bingo wings depress you?
Do you cringe at the thought of squeezing into your swimming costume for a day by the pool?
If so, then come along and join us on 3rd May at the Cotswold Wellness Group to discover how to be your gorgeous best this summer!
This is the time of year that many of us join the gym or embark on a crash diet to try and lose a few pounds in time for the holidays. But what is the best way to do it? And how do we keep up the motivation week after week?
The bookshops are groaning with a milllion different diet plans, 5:2, Atkins, Paleo, Low Fat, South Beach, blah blah blah. It can be very confusing knowing what to do for the best and which approach is healthiest in the long term. Our clinical nutritionist Claire Butler will be sharing her approach to natural, healthy, sustainable weight loss, and how to find a way of eating that works for the while family.
Of course, losing weight is not just about the food. As a registered hypnotherapist, Claire Furner has many weight loss clients knocking on her door. Claire understands that losing weight is not just about what you eat, it's about your whole mindset towards food. Claire will be sharing a variety of ways to help you change the way you feel about food, to enhance your motivation and commitment to lose weight, how to ditch cravings, and how to deal with emotional eating.
The Cotswold Wellness Group meets once a month in Bourton on the Water, Everyone is welcome at our groups, and we promise you will find the atmosphere fun and supportive. No one is weighed, measured, or judged! Please come along and join us, and feel free to bring a friend. Tickets are just £10 on the door including refreshments and materials. You can register on our Facebook page or text 0772 0887205 to book your place.
We look forward to seeing you!
Claire and Claire
I am currently in the planning stages for our next workshop, "Feel Good from the Inside Out" which takes place on 4th April 2016.
As with all our workshops it is very much based on the needs and interests of the group. Managing stress, finding time to relax and recharge our batteries seems to be a very common theme!
This workshop will be an opportunity to learn about and try out some complementary therapies, such as aromatherapy and sound healing. We also have a visiting yoga expert to share with us how yoga can benefit us physically and mentally, and will also be learning about how food can be used to boost our mood (and yes, that may well include chocolate!)
I hope it will be a very relaxing and restorative evening so please come along and join us. For more details or to register please go to our Facebook page or contact us.
I am currently very excited about our next workshop on 1st Feb on the theme of "New Year, New You".
We have some great activities planned including making Vision Boards which you will be able to take away.
We will also be talking about goal setting and the " Law of Attraction", as well as learning how to get the New Year off to a great start nutritionally speaking.
This is a really friendly and supportive group of women, and it is truly lovely seeing the connections being made and hopefully friendships forming within the group.
We all need a little support and encouragement from time to time, so why not come along and have some fun and maybe learn something new at the same time?
